ROLE: QHSE Assistant

Expro Group is now looking for a QHSE Assistant to join the QHSE team in Takoradi, Ghana for 6 months.
The overall purpose of the job
To assist managers in ensuring that HSEQ processes and systems are established, applied consistently, and monitored regularly, as well as to provide administrative and other HSEQ-related support.
Key Activities and Accountabilities.
- Provide administrative and other support to managers to guarantee compliance with Expro’s HSEQ procedures and systems, as well as consistency of approach.
- Update HSEQ systems, particularly Etrak, to ensure that the right information on accidents, near misses, and non-conformances is reported; interact with relevant departments to solicit the required information.
- Compile and maintain HSEQ records and documentation in compliance with policy.
- Help with the creation of risk, manual handling, and COSHH assessment documents.
- May keep the emergency response plan, including the necessity for drills and training.
- Contribute to the assessment and development of HSEQ processes, instructions, and control dissemination.
- Assist in arranging for HSEQ audits in compliance with the agreed audit schedule (HSE and Quality).
- Schedule or assist in scheduling regular tours of the workplace/offices.
- Schedule and assist with HSE and quality training, including HSEQ induction training, for new personnel and contractors; update records as needed.
- Attend and participate in safety and quality meetings.
- May be responsible for collecting and registering PIP cards, as well as distributing and displaying HSEQ-related signage and information.
- May be responsible for monitoring First Aid certificates and making arrangements for renewal.
- Maintain an HSEQ filing system to ensure that all applicable certificates, documents, and data sheets are conveniently accessible.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in an HSEQ context.
- Basic knowledge of HSEQ management systems.
