POSITION: Training and Onboarding Officer
We are searching for a dependable and experienced Training and Onboarding Officer who will be in charge of training potential applicants and onboarding successful MAX Champions.
What You’re Going to Do
Onboarding and training
- Track riders’ progress via the onboarding process.
- Explain the conditions of service and the employment contract to new drivers.
- Conduct orientation training to educate new employees about corporate policies and processes.
- Ensure that new drivers are effectively onboarded and that they understand the requirements outlined in the service contract.
- Develop and maintain positive connections with drivers. Collect their comments and use them to make operational changes.
- Keep track of new-hire turnover and retention rates.
- Create engaging exercises to increase interactivity and retention.
- Investigate new concepts and forecast future dangers and possibilities.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest MAX developments. App and communicate such information to the Champions
- Collaborate and be proactive in addressing Champion churn, developing a strategy to ensure quick changes.
- In due course, notify Champions of any essential changes made by management.
- Collaborate (with recruitment) in the Champions’ selection, onboarding, and verification/background check.
- Set clear expectations and directions, and convey them to the champions.
- Identify and connect the dots for the class’s areas of confusion.
- Suggest Champions have periodic training, such as health and safety.
- Maintain an awareness of current and emerging market practices. Bring in fresh ideas and plan for potential dangers and possibilities.
- Assist in the development of a strong Riders workforce and community.
Activation and testing
- Ensure that every potential Champion takes the psychometric test.
- Ensure that successful applicants advance to the next stage of change.
- Verify that the activation process moves quickly and smoothly from one stage to the next.
- Follow up to verify that guarantor forms are checked and returned.
- Follow up to ensure a smooth application process and proper training execution.
Administration and Management
- Ensure that the company’s strategy, goals, objectives, and processes are followed.
- Create and oversee the execution of plans, tactics, and processes.
- Enforce the usage of proper testing methodologies, frameworks, and channels.
- Processes should be optimized for effective and efficient budget utilization.
- Oversee and supervise the onboarding team.
- Work with your line manager to prioritize your company’s business and information needs.
- Promote the mission and values of the company.
Reporting
- Maintain an internal candidate (successful and unsuccessful) database that is constantly updated and maintained.
- Prepare periodic reports for supervisors that show tasks in progress, the number of candidates verified, tested, and onboarded, and the number of candidates verified, tested, and onboarded. Maintain a record of individual performance at each stage of the onboarding test.
Capabilities and Skills
- Working expertise in building orientation systems and tools is required.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail Proven track record of managing various client recruitments
- Excellent understanding of recruitment procedures, metrics, and guidelines.

Requirements
What You’ll Require
- A bachelor’s degree in transportation management, supply chain management, or logistics, or an equivalent degree
- 3+ years of driver training and onboarding experience
- Experience with e-commerce transport operations is a plus.
