Voltic (GH) Limited has a great job offer for a Treasury and Tax Accountant. Voltic (GH) Limited is known for making the best-selling expensive water brand in Ghana. This has been the case for over 20 years. Voltic (GH) Limited has now added Value-Added Dairies to its list of products. The Financial Accounting Manager(FI) is directly in charge of this job. The bank accountant is in charge of managing the cash flow and making sure there are enough funds to cover the daily cash outflow needs of the business.

Important Duties and Tasks

Financial Management

  • Firstly, Manage the accounts on a balance sheet.
  • Secondly, Perform the monthly FI close procedures, which start the process of closing the accounting ledger for the given time.
  • Thirdly, Plan your daily cash flow. (Preparation of all treasury and cash management-related internal and exterior financial reports).
  • Moreover, Gives the Manager tips on how to handle cash and investments in all areas.
  • Additionally, Make projections of how much cash a company will have in the short term and near future.
  • Then, Accounts on the balance sheet that are in foreign currency are re-valued as needed for the preparation of financial records.
  • Also, When there are problems with reconciliation, they are found, reported, and fixed within one month.
  • Additionally, Reconciliations are done once a month and sent to the Manager on time for review.
  • Lastly, Finance rules, and account reconciliations for the balance sheet are done.

Maintain Policies and Procedures

  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations clear up the most important things that are still open.
  • Keep policies and procedures in place.
  • Help with internal checks and make sure they are done right.
  • Do things like writing and implementing new rules.
  • Maintain and share changes to the financial policy.
  • Prepares working papers and schedules to help with cash management and treasury tasks at the end of each month and year.
  • Cash management and treasury tools are looked at and suggestions for improvements are made. acts in place of the financial analyst when he or she is not available.
  • Internal checks are done every year as planned.
  • All internal errors have been taken care of.
  • 100% of audited errors are checked for.
  • GAAP, or generally accepted accounting standards, are followed to the letter.

  • Evaluate the cash needs of each business section and suggest ways to make the company’s cash work better.
  • Making sure that the company’s finances are in good shape.
  • 100% correct year-end report according to company schedule

  • Every month, the reports are 100% correct and follow the templates and schedule.
  • All changes to taxes must be made known and put into place.

Skills, Work Experience, and Education Requirements

  • Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree, CPA((K) /ACCA.
