POSITION: Market Intelligence Officer
The Market Intelligence Officer will work to keep the company up-to-date on market conditions, what competitors are doing, and issues that could affect the company, its products, or its prices. The chosen candidate will work with the Sales Team and report to the Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Gather information about the market as a whole and what your competitors are doing.
- Gather and analyze other business intelligence data that management gives you about metrics.
- Use tools on the Internet to find out what you need to know about products, competitors, etc.
- Store and retrieve intelligence data
- Write reports about markets and rivals
- Management may tell you to work on other schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Higher National Diploma (HND) in business administration, economics, statistics, accounting, or a similar field.
- At least two years of work experience in a related field and a track record of gathering intelligence.
- Player on the team and Team leader.
- Driven to do well.
