POSITION: Regional Sales & Marketing Manager
Job Description.
Our international client, who deals in Fast-Moving Consumable Goods (FMCG), is searching for an experienced Regional Sales & Marketing Manager to join the team. Reporting to the General Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to develop and implement sales strategies to generate revenue, manage existing accounts, prospect for clients, and provide great customer service to retain customers.
Responsibilities.
- Develop a sales and marketing strategy for the Ashanti Region that aligns with the company’s aims and objectives.
- Coordinate with the Head of Sales and Marketing to plan and implement regional promotional initiatives.
- Manage and improve the regional lead generation strategy to drive sales growth.
- Coordinate the marketing campaign for sales activities.
- Liaise with the Head of Internal Audit to verify that the branch complies with statutory regulations and business policy.
- Direct and manage branch workers on day-to-day operations in the branch/regions, including the provision of excellent customer service.
- Oversee the branch’s sales and marketing budget.
- Assign targets to team members to meet individual weekly and monthly sales goals.
- Responsible for managing regional brands and developing corporate identities.
- Monitor and report the efficacy of regional marketing communications to the Head of Sales and Marketing.
- Liaise with the Head of the Human Resources Department regarding branch sales staff training, development, and appraisals.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other department heads to achieve branch and corporate goals.
- Perform any additional duties as specified.
Requirements
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or a similar discipline.
- You must have at least five (5) years of experience in the same or related role.
- Outstanding critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Should be familiar with the use of ERP Next or comparable software for tracking approvals and receipts.
- Outstanding organizational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, team-playing, and time management abilities.
- Have good negotiation and sales skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office software suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
