POSITION: Manager, Internal Audit (Information Systems)
Ghana Investment Fund For Electronic Communications (GIFEC) is an agency of the Ministry of Communications and Digitalization, mandated to promote Universal Access to Electronic Communications in the country’s unserved and underserved populations
GIFEC seeks an experienced, proactive, industrious, talented, and self-motivated individual for the position of Manager, Internal Audit (Information Systems).
Purpose of Position
To provide operational support for the effectiveness and efficiency of the fund’s internal audit functions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage information systems audit engagements, including planning, audit testing, assessment programs, and quality assurance.
- Continuously assess the information technology environment.
- Identify areas of non-compliance and assess risks and internal controls.
- Monitor information security and post-implementation reviews of new deployments.
- Gather data for annual audit plans.
- Adhere to internal audit and financial administration regulations, procedures, and standards. Participate in audits (special, periodic, and yearly) and contribute to report preparation. Supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate employees.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, hold CISA, CISM, or CISSP certification, have at least 3 years of experience in information system auditing, finance, or audit-related positions, and pass a selection interview conducted by the Fund and the Public Services Commission.

- Knowledge of accounting software

- Ability to identify and advise on risks for technology projects
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Location: Accra.
