Position Title: Supply Planner
Job Description
Voltic (GH) Limited has a great job offer for a Supply Planner. Voltic (GH) Limited is known for making the best-selling expensive water brand in Ghana. This has been the case for over 20 years. Voltic (GH) Limited has now added Value-Added Dairies to its list of products. The Planning Manager is directly in charge of this job.
It is the job holder’s duty to optimize the planning and balancing of stock needed across the supply chain network in line with targeted customer service levels, levels of forecast accuracy, and buffer stock levels for the assigned portfolio of SKUs. To keep track of and compare real performance to plans in order to make sure that the best and most efficient plans are made.
Key Duties and Tasks
- Using DDMRP principles, give advice to the inventory targets.
- Rolling forecasts and raw materials schedules need to be made and put into action.
- Then, using DDMRP, figure out how much of each Raw Material you need to keep on hand.
- Also, Using DDMRP principles, keep an eye on how Rolling Forecasts and Raw Materials Schedules are put into action.
- Handle problems with raw materials
- Moreover, Help with the Peak Planning process and use DDMRP principles to make sure that restocking is done according to plan.
- Rolling Forecasts and Raw Materials Schedules can be used to keep track of results and report on them.
- Lastly, Build a relationship with clients as a business partner that adds value.
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management (or a similar field) or Bcom is the minimum qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in the beverage or consumer goods industry.
- Experience with using an ERP system and with planning for demand and supply.
- Sales & Operations planning skills.
- Planning and handling of incoming materials.
