ROLE TITLE: Record Clerk

Ghana National Association of the Deaf (GNAD) is a non-profit organisation that promotes the rights of people who are deaf or hard of hearing. GNAD uses right-based advocacy to address cross-cutting concerns and improve deaf people access to public goods and services.

Job Description.

Applications are solicited from eligible individuals for the following positions at its national secretariat in Accra: Record Clerk

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing a records management system.
  • Perform data entry duties.
  • Updating existing records.
  • Maintaining the company archives
  • retrieving information from the filing system as needed.
  • Keeping up-to-date logs, containing information about file changes or who has access.
  • Scan and upload files to make digital copies of tangible records.
  • Process and file copies of incoming and departing physical correspondence.
  • Conducting routine verification to maintain the integrity of the filing system.

Required Skill or Experience

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Must be a quick typist with exceptional multitasking skills.

Skills & Abilities

  • Time management and meeting deadlines Communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational abilities and capacity to multitask.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making
  • Proactive and self-directed Interpersonal skills

REQUIREMENT

  • Ability to deal with a wide range of computer programmes.
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
