ROLE TITLE: Sales Representative
Our customer is Ghana’s top pharmaceutical company. The organization is currently looking for a hands-on Sales Representative to work in its Accra offices and handle day-to-day operations there.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain existing client relationships through regular visits and prospect for new customers in the designated territory.
- Effectively market and sell firm items, with an emphasis on consumer products.
- Support and make delivery to shop customers as needed.
- Ensure in-store visibility of the company’s items through merchandising and the supply of timely and relevant information about products, prices, and promotions.
- Analyse rival activity and customer comments.
- Organize trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to boost product sales.
- Assisting with pricing schedules for quotations, promotions, and negotiations.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Giving sales presentations to a variety of prospective customers.
- Coordinating sales and marketing efforts.
- Understanding and promoting company programs.
- Obtaining deposits and balance payments from clients.
- Creating and submitting sales contracts for orders.
- Visiting existing and prospective clients to assess their requirements or market products and services.
- Maintaining client records.
- Responding to client inquiries concerning loan terms, items, pricing, and availability.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least an HND in Sales and Marketing.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a sales representative.
- Understand the sales process and dynamics.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to quickly establish connections with clients and suppliers.
- Experience with computers for a variety of purposes.
- Competence in Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced atmosphere
Location: Accra.
