POSITION: HR and Admin Manager

Atlantic Lifesciences Limited, a prominent and reputable pharmaceutical and manufacturing firm, is seeking competent applicants for the following positions: Human Resources and Administration Manager at the Factory

Atlantic Lifesciences Limited is a leading sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Ghana. They produce a variety of sterile dosage forms, including intravenous infusions, eye/ear/nasal drops, small-volume parenteral, biological products, vaccines, and inhalational anaesthetic solutions. All items are prepared in line with the current WHO CGMP codes. Our production facilities are frequently audited by the Ghana Food and Drugs Authority.

Our large-volume parenteral manufacturing operation offers cutting-edge clean room equipment, including two Rommelag Blow-Fill-Seal machines with a combined capacity of 200,000 bottles per day (55 million bottles per year). Our ophthalmic production line has an established capacity of 264,000 vials per day (70 million vials per year). This makes Atlantic Lifesciences one of West Africa’s major sterile manufacturing enterprises, with huge production facilities. Apart from having the largest market share in Ghana for parenteral products, we also export to several countries in the ECOWAS sub-region, including Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Togo, Benin, Liberia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Cameroun, Nigeria, and Chad.

Job Summary

  • The Human Resource & Administration Manager will handle all human resource responsibilities, including recruitment, training, and labour relations, with a constant focus on efficiency and process improvement in administration.

Duties

  • Managing recruitment process
  • Documenting HR policies
  • Managing employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health
  • Developing and maintaining a performance appraisal system using appropriate tools
  • Ensuring staff policies, procedures, and practices comply with local employment and labour laws, among other duties.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree in Human Resource Management or a similar field.
  • Three or more years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
