POSITION: Chief Executive Officer
Bulisa Community Bank LTD, whose main office is in Sandema, Bulisa North Municipality, Upper East Region, is looking for qualified Ghanaians to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer.
Job Purpose
The person who gets the job will be in charge of leading, overseeing, and running the day-to-day operations of the Bank in accordance with the law, strategic and business plans, and policies and procedures approved by the Board.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the activities of the bank’s departments and agencies to provide leadership and direction for the bank.
- Set the business’s broad goals and strategies.
- Prepare and give the board the necessary technical papers on time so that decisions can be made well.
- Lead and oversee the bank’s credit activities to make sure credit management is done well and to improve the quality of its assets.
Needed Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree or full professional qualification in accounting, finance, banking, or a related field, and at least ten years of work experience in a bank, with at least five of those years spent in a managerial position.
- A bachelor’s degree or part of a professional qualification in accounting, finance, banking, or a related field, plus at least 15 years of work experience in a bank, of which 8 years should be in management positions.
- Knows a lot about the T24 banking application software.
- Knows a lot about financial regulations (Companies Act, Banks, Specialised Deposit-Taking Institution Act, Deposit protection Act, AMI, Act, etc.).
- Has good IT skills and knows how to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
- Can motivate and drive growth. Strong professional ethics, excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
