1. Child Protection Officer
Qualifications:
- A degree in social work, child welfare, psychology, or a similar discipline. A master’s degree provides an advantage.
- Proven experience creating and implementing child protection initiatives in development settings.
- Strong knowledge of child rights, child protection legislation, and gender concerns.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience in community mobilization, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Knowledge of the local context and cultural sensitivity, as well as skill in local languages in the Northern Region, are preferred.
- In a dynamic setting, the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively is required.
- Fluency in English.
2. Project Coordinator
Qualifications
- Obtain a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, development studies, project management, or a similar field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience managing agricultural or development projects, with an emphasis on sustainable practices and improved livelihoods.
- Strong knowledge of child protection and gender concerns in development settings.
- Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
- Extensive experience in financial management and budget supervision.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge about Ghana’s agriculture sector and the challenges that smallholder farmers face.
- In a dynamic setting, the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively is required.
- Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of the Northern Region’s local languages is advantageous.
