POSITION: Sales Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Engineer) 

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Responsibilities include sales prospecting, client portfolio management, market penetration, and technical needs identification.
  • Develop customised sales engineering tactics for clients.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering department to guarantee the client’s technical requirements are met.
  • Preparing and creating technical presentations to explain our company’s products or services to customers.
  • Customers and engineers are discussing their equipment demands and system requirements.
  • Working with sales teams to understand customer needs and offer sales support.
  • Creating high-quality sales leads, following up after the first contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating rates, closing transactions, and scheduling deliveries.
  • Researching, designing, and altering items to fulfil consumers’ technical specifications and needs.
  • Assisted customers with installation issues and recommended superior or upgraded materials and machinery.
  • Soliciting and recording client feedback, as well as analysing the data, in order to develop new customer-targeting sales and marketing tactics.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and conveying them, along with potential solutions, to senior management.
  • Setting and meeting sales goals and quotas.
  • Teaching other members of the sales team about the technical elements of the company’s products and services.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in Sales
  • Experience in the fire protection field is advantageous, with a minimum of 2 years of work experience required.
