ROLE: Proposal Writing Fellow
About the Position
The Junior Professional will work as a Proposal Writing Fellow to improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of IFDC’s ability to contribute to proposal development and identify funding opportunities. The position holder will work hand-in-hand with the Regional New Business Development (NBD) team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Firstly, Support IFDC in research and development of proposal for new projects by providing advice and technical assistance.
- Secondly, Contribute to project/programs proposal development and working closely with the NBD team.
- Thirdly, Play key role in concept notes development, taking minutes and action points.
- Moreover, Contribute to technical discussions and report writing.
- Last but not least, Prepare work plans and organize proposal content.
- Finally, Contribute to identifying funding opportunities for IFDC
Required Qualification
- To begin with, A good degree in Agriculture based programs, Development Studies, Project Management, MBA, Food Security, Sustainability Studies, Proposal Writing, and related programs
- Then, Must have at least 2 years of experience working in an NGO environment
- Afterwards, Should have a strong analytical and persuasive skills
- Finally, Excellent writing skills in English
