POSITION: Agriculture Development Planning Manager

Diageo is the world’s largest business for premium drinks. It has a great selection of alcohol brands for spirits, beer, and wine. Guinness, Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Baileys, Captain Morgan, Malta Guinness, and Alvaro are some of these brands.

Africa is the biggest emerging market for Diageo in terms of net sales, and it employs more than 5,300 people (one-fourth of the company’s global workforce) directly in its businesses there, as well as many more indirectly through the production, distribution, and promotion of its brands.

Guinness Ghana Breweries Plc (GGBPLC) is the biggest drinks company in Ghana and the only one that is listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE). It has a market value share of about 60% of the drinks market. It has two locations and works in five types of drinks: Stout, Lager, RTD, Mainstream Spirits, and Malt. It also sells Spirits. In a competitive environment, the economy of Ghana is expected to keep growing at a rate of between 5% and 10% per year.

Guinness Ghana imports about 55% of the raw materials and packaging materials it needs to make all of its brands, such as malted barley, crowns, aluminum cans, and flavors.
