Department:
As a part of a technical sales team, you will visit mining businesses in North and West African countries.
Purpose of Role:
Our portfolio comprises specialized equipment for gold recovery at various stages of the process. You will be responsible for maintaining our customers’ happiness by offering technical assistance and sales support. Your dual function will aid in the expansion of this division of the company.
Your responsibilities are as follows:
- You will be accountable for providing accurate recommendations and establishing trust with your consumers. Essentially, they will consult with you as they gain trust in you.
- Regular visits and inspections of mining sites will be required.
- You will need to evaluate and disassemble some equipment at the customer’s location in order to diagnose and recommend technical solutions and upgrades. Following thorough internal training, you will provide instruction to customer operators and maintenance crews as needed.
All of your actions will contribute to the expansion of this segment of our portfolio. You will monitor and report on your business line’s volumes and margins.
What you will bring:
The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or process background, preferably in mining. Experience on a mining site is a tremendous asset. However, determination, attention, sales behavior, rapport-building ability, and receptivity to a multicultural workplace will all be defining elements.
