ROLE: Assistant Finance Manager
About the job
- Prepare reports outlining the company’s financial status in terms of income, expenses, and earnings from past, current, and future operations. This includes rewriting and updating reports to make them more useful and efficient, as well as providing external reports as needed.
- Contribute to audits, reviews, and tax preparation.
- Create and implement financial and accounting policies, processes, and best practices for their company’s financial and accounting operations, as well as general compliance.
- Monitor the accuracy of all data and sales reports.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject is necessary.
- ACCA certification is a plus.
- Understanding of widely accepted accounting standards and internal control principles
- Financial reporting expertise
- Accounting, finance, and tax regulations at the local, state, and federal levels
- Accounting and Bookkeeping Technical Knowledge
- Strong IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel
