POSITION: Travel Center Sales Associate

About the job
- Meets with clients to establish their travel needs, budgets, and preferences.
- Arrange for transportation, lodging, insurance, tours, and activities.
- Provides advice to clients about destinations, cultures, customs, weather, and activities.
- Makes travel preparations.
- Manages travel concerns, disagreements, complaints, cancellations, and reimbursements.
- Develops and maintains relationships with travel and tour vendors.
- Attends travel seminars and conferences.
- Researches destination and industry trends.
- Keeps accurate records for bookings, payments, transactions, and meetings.
- Supports agency efforts by completing related duties as needed.
Requirements:
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales, tourism, or related fields.
- Proven job experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or in a similar function.
- Demonstrates successful sales performance.
- Experience in customer support is a plus.
- Proficient with MS Office and CRM applications (e.g., Salesforce).
- Proficient in English
- Market knowledge.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrates rapport-building skills.
- Strong time management and planning abilities.
