POSITION: Senior Manager, Cyber Security

The Senior Manager, Cyber Security Consultant will play a critical role in our consulting firm, providing expert advice on cyber security strategy, risk management, and best practices to a varied range of clients. This position necessitates a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and good client-facing abilities.

Principal Responsibilities

Consultation and advice to clients:

• Give clients in a variety of businesses technical advice on cyber security issues.
• Analyze customer needs and provide customized cybersecurity solutions.

Business expansion:

• Identify new business prospects and help the cyber security consulting practice flourish.
• Create proposals and lead pitches to potential clients.

Team Development and Leadership:

• In charge of leading and mentoring a team of cybersecurity specialists.
• Encourage professional development and knowledge sharing among team members.

Strategy for Cybersecurity:

• Create and put in place a comprehensive cyber security strategy for clients.
• Assist companies in connecting their cyber security strategies with their business objectives.

Risk Evaluation and Management:

• Conduct comprehensive cyber-risk assessments for clients.
• Create and provide advice on risk reduction methods and policies.

Incident Management and Response:

• Lead client cyber incident response initiatives.
• Create and improve incident response plans and practices.

Governance and Compliance:

• Ensure that clients comply with applicable cyber security laws, regulations, and standards.
• Supervise cyber security audits and assist customers during external audits.

Market research and thought leadership:

• Keep up with the most recent cyber security developments and technologies.
• Contribute to thought leadership by writing articles, delivering presentations, and participating in industry forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (recommended) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• Relevant professional credentials (for example, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, CRISC, GSLC, CCISO, CompTIA Security+).

Experience:

• A minimum of ten years’ expertise in cyber security, with significant experience in a consultancy or advisory role.
• Capable of developing and implementing security strategies and solutions.
• Track record of success in business development and customer relationship management.

Skills

• Outstanding consultancy and client management abilities.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Expertise in cyber security frameworks, technologies, and best practices.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

Additional Conditions

• The ability to travel for client engagements as needed.
• Adaptability to a variety of corporate contexts and cultures.
