POSITION: Treasury Analyst
A Treasury Analyst is in charge of managing and assessing their employer’s financial operations. This covers managing cash flow, income, liabilities, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of sales and purchase forecasts from the relevant commercial team, with approval from FM for Puma firms.
- Deviation files are prepared regularly, and rationales are obtained for the corresponding team.
- Providing business insights to the Treasury Mumbai team to help manage liquidity.
- Request FX demand from banks and coordinate with the FX team. FX validation is based on internal control policies.
- Prepare a weekly market and economic update and share it with all stakeholders.
- Preparing documentation needed by the bank for opening, closure, and signatory changes. Interact with COSEC and other departments to obtain the records as per internal control policy.
- Payment-related documents, preparing letters to the bank, providing signatures on the BBF report, and any other reports
- Coordinating with the customer for any overdues and sending an update to the FM.
- Providing support to FM for audit-related requirements
- Any other finance-related activities that the FM may request.
Experience
- Requirements for this position include a degree or equivalent experience in corporate or bank treasury.
- Have great numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication abilities, including the ability to convey complicated material, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Key Relationships and Department Overview:
The accounting department manages external banks, affiliates, supply, finance, operations, compliance, and accounting.
