Move to Canada | Prince Edward Island’s International Recruitment Event for Diverse Occupations in 2024
In 2024, Prince Edward Island (PEI) will host an international recruitment event to satisfy the province’s various workforce needs. This project is part of PEI’s larger effort to attract skilled workers from across the world to fill diverse occupational roles and help local businesses develop.
This event is an excellent opportunity for overseas candidates to learn about job opportunities in PEI across many industries. Use the streamlined signup system located below this blog. Applicants can upload their profiles, explore job postings, and remain informed about the recruitment process.
Why This Event is Crucial
As PEI grows, there is a greater demand for experts in industries such as healthcare, IT, education, and hospitality. This recruitment event aims to link global talent with local employers, thereby filling vital roles and driving the province’s economic growth. For job searchers, it represents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant community while also enjoying life on Canada’s lovely island.
Skilled Workers Outside of Canada
PEI Provincial immigration channels are determined by federal immigration allocations, application volumes, and provincial labour market requirements. The PEI Office of Immigration is currently choosing and prioritizing qualified workers in high-demand sectors such as health care, trades, childcare, and other critical businesses experiencing labour shortages. Individuals in the sales and service industries may not receive an invitation to apply at this time.
An Expression of Interest is not a formal application, but rather an indication of your desire to be considered for the PEI PNP. The Office reserves the right to limit intake or exclude participants from Expressions of Interest draws.
The Skilled Worker Stream may be used for talent recruitment outside of Canada if the Prince Edward Island Employer obtains approval from the Office of Immigration before making a job offer. With acceptance, the candidate would receive a Work Permit Support Letter, allowing them to apply for a work permit.
