POSITION: Administrative and Finance Officer

Company Overview 

NUNER BD is a company focused on business development, collaborating with participants in different agricultural value chains to attain socio-economic and developmental sustainability. Central to our operation is collaborating with smallholder farmers situated in isolated regions that do not have sufficient access to agricultural extension services, farming inputs, and specialized training services. The small-scale farmers we have collaborated with have seen higher yields and greater profits, along with an improved comprehension of good agricultural practices (GAPs).

Position Overview 

We aim to hire a skilled Administrative and Finance Officer to become a part of our team in the Volta Region. The chosen applicant will be tasked with delivering administrative, finance, and accounting assistance necessary for the effective and seamless operation of the organization. The applicant will additionally advocate for the organization’s initiatives online.

Responsibilities

  • Creating Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, and Goods Receipt Notes as required.
  • Creating customer invoices
  • Logging vendor invoices received and payments made in the accounting records.
  • Management of Imprest and associated records
  • Payment and completion of Statutory Fees/Taxes
  • Organizes and manages all deposit or banking tasks.
  • Conduct Monthly Bank Reconciliation
  • Monthly inventory check
  • Managing Asset registry
  • Keeping accurate documentation and filing system to guarantee thoroughness, authenticity, and proof of financial dealings
  • Create a social media schedule and advertise NUNER BD’s events online.
  • Any additional task delegated

Required Skills or Experience

  • Proficiency in utilizing QuickBooks or Tally
  • Sufficient expertise in IFRS standards and various other accounting principles
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Skills for marketing on social media
  • Focus on specifics
