Exciting Career Opportunity at Lycopodium
Lycopodium is looking for an E&I Superintendent to join our growing Project team in Ahafo North.
The E & I Superintendent will report to the Construction Manager-Plant/NPI. He or she will be in charge of overseeing the planning and installation of an electrical system at the Ahafo North Plant site, making sure that all Company, Client, governmental, and contractual requirements are met.
The things you’ll have to do.
- Offer high-quality, professional services with a positive, hard-working attitude that puts safety and quality first.
- Oversee, check, and manage the E&I systems installation contractor, including safety quality, progress on the schedule, quality of work, paperwork checklists, and claim progress.
- Do regular checks on the work, looking at things like how the plan compares to how it was actually installed, the materials used, the cost of the project, and quality control.
- Make sure the Contractor has all IFC drawings and the most up-to-date requirements for building and installing the Electrical and Instrumentation systems.
- Make sure that installations are done according to master specs, standard installation details, and state and local codes.

- Be able to plan, write down, and keep track of all Notice of Energisation processes.
- Able to give tasks to other people in the department.
