Role Title: English Language Teacher
Position Description
An outstanding graduate teacher with a B.Ed in English (or its equivalence) is needed to teach English Language in the Upper Primary and JHS departments.
Responsibilities
- Teaching fundamental English skills such as reading, writing, and speaking.
- Create lesson plans in order to incorporate the entire period of each lesson.
- Execute classes efficiently utilizing various teaching techniques based on the material.
- Engage students to create a lively classroom environment.
- Teach kids about the English language’s structure and content.
- Teach kids how to spell words and what they signify.
- Emphasize composition, grammar, and sentence structure rules.
- Teach pupils how to pronounce words correctly.
- Teach students to think critically when reading and writing poetry.
- Teach pupils how to critically examine and evaluate media reports, ads, and news stories.
Required Qualifications or Experience
- A Bachelor’s or Education Degree in English is required for the English Language teacher.
- Must have a positive attitude in order to truly assist children in learning properly.
- Must be able to solve problems
- Be able to operate effectively with little or no supervision
- Have at least two years of relevant teaching experience and be a team player.
