Deputy Director – Quality Assurance at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital
Job Purpose
Lead in the development and implementation of quality assurance (QA) policies and programs in the hospital under the supervision of the Chief Executive
Qualification Required & Experience
- Senior Health Professional (Not below the rank of Principal) with a postgraduate qualification in a health-related field (at least a Masters degree, membership of professional college or equivalent and in good standing with the relevant regulatory body where applicable
- Evidence of leadership and continuing professional development and training in health management
- A minimum of 5 years working experience in management/supervisory position
- A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in a health facility
- A broad knowledge base and experience of health sector policies and operating procedures
- Proven training, knowledge and experience of quality assurance in health care will be an advantage
General Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must note that:
- All positions are full time jobs based in Kumasi.
- Positions are top level appointments with a fixed term engagement
- Successful applicants shall remain staff of the Ministry of Health throughout the tenure
- Subsequent tenure will be through process approved by the Board

- Moreover, Ability to organise workload and work under pressure to meet tight timelines and targets
- Besides that, Excellent problem-solving skills
- Additionally, Ability to work on own initiative
- Furthermore, Good advocacy and negotiation skills
- Most importantly, Self-Disciplined
- Thereafter, Emotionally stable
- More so, Conflict management skills
- Afterwards, Demonstrate flexibility and a methodological approach to work
- Last but not least, Good computer literacy
- Finally, Good oriented and honest
