POSITION: Help Desk Officer

Job Description.

  • Always maintain a positive, compassionate, and professional attitude toward consumers.
  • Responding quickly to consumer inquiries.
  • Communicating with clients via several channels.
  • Addressing and resolving client problems.
  • Understand our products inside and out so you can answer inquiries.
  • Process orders, paperwork, applications, and requests.
  • Keeping track of customer interactions, transactions, feedback, and complaints.
  • Communicating and collaborating with colleagues as needed.
  • Providing feedback on the effectiveness of the customer service procedure.
  • Overseeing a team of junior customer service professionals.
  • Ensure customer happiness and offer expert customer support.

Qualifications & Experience

  • The ability to remain calm when dealing with stressed or irate customers.
  • Comfortable with computers.
  • Previous experience working in customer service.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related profession.
  • 3+ years of experience as a support desk professional.
  • Advanced understanding of computer hardware systems, such as circuit boards, memory modules, and CPUs.
  • Understanding of computer software systems, such as databases, office applications, and operating systems.
  • Excellent analytic and diagnostic skills.
  • Advanced understanding of help desk software and remote access systems.
  • High-level communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software problems.
  • Patience and understanding.
