The Delegation of the European Union to Ghana is looking for a Press and Information Officer
WE ARE
The European Union (EU) is an economic and political partnership between 27 European countries. Thus, The EU is represented through more than 140 diplomatic representations, known as EU Delegations, which have a similar function to those of an embassy. Therefore, The EU Delegation to Ghana’s mission is “Building a strong partnership with Ghana to promote Peace and Prosperity for People and Protecting the Planet”.
WE OFFER
A position of Press & Information Officer in an international and multicultural environment. Under this post, the recruited person will be attributed functions depending on the needs of the Delegation. Also, The jobholder will work to increase the visibility and public awareness of the European Union and the European Union Delegation in Ghana.
The place of employment is Delegation of the European Union to Ghana -The Round House – 81, Cantonments Road, Accra, Ghana. Benefits, such as additional pension scheme and medical insurance are offered to employees and their families under certain conditions.
WE LOOK FOR
A proactive candidate with excellent networking skills. The recruited candidate should be able to moderate panel discussions and serve as Master of Ceremony (MC). Moreover, He/she should be a multitasker, able to cope with tight deadlines and erratic work schedule. Requirements of the post are as follows:
