Channel Executive (Retail) at Sanlam Insurance
Sanlam Insurance is looking for a Channel Executive to join their team (Retail).
Job Purpose
Responsible for leading the channel and learning to deliver sustained market growth based on a delightful and reliable customer experience to help individuals and families feel financially secure and live a confident life.
Main Duties
- Develop a strategy as needed and put it into action to meet retail market growth goals.
- Get train support and keep a team of engaged, happy advisors.
- Make sure that the budget for productivity is met, taking into account the sales mix and other important factors.
- Build market pipelines, open markets, lead and support advisors to meet the productivity budget
- Keep an eye on customers, the industry, and other important parties, and ask for their feedback to improve products and services to meet the needs of the retail market segment.
- Indecisive entrepreneurial leadership of the channel and team to build and maintain a performance excellence culture in line with Sanlam’s core values.
- Any other jobs that the line manager gives you
Qualification Required & Experience
- Must be a fully qualified insurance professional and an active member of a recognized insurance professional body (e.g CIIG, CII-UK, etc)
- At least a bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, insurance, risk management, or a similar field.
- It would be helpful to have a Master’s degree in marketing, insurance, risk management, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience as a senior manager in the financial services industry in the channel leadership field.
- Leadership of channels with a track record of success
- Work that has been tried and tested, and high moral standards
