Sanlam Insurance is looking for a Branch Manager to join their team (Retail).
Job Purpose
Be in charge of leading the channel and learn how to deliver long-term market growth based on happy and reliable customer experiences so that individuals and families can feel confident about their finances and live a confident life.
Main Duties
- Create the right strategy and put it into action to meet retail market growth goals.
- Recruit, train, and keep a team of engaged and happy advisors.
- Make sure the productivity budget is met in line with sales mix and other key imperatives.
- Build market pipelines, open markets, lead and support advisors to meet productivity budget.
- Stay interested in customers, the industry, and other important parties, and get feedback from them to improve products and services to meet the needs of the retail market segment.
- Entrepreneurial leadership of the channel and team that wasn’t sure what to do to build and keep a performance excellence culture in line with Sanlam’s core values.
- Any other jobs that the line manager gives them.
Needed Qualifications and Experience
- Must be an insurance professional with at least a diploma in insurance from a recognized institution.
- Must have a degree or HND in marketing, insurance, risk management, or a related field.
- A master’s degree in marketing, insurance, risk management, or a related field will be a plus.
- At least four years of experience as a manager in the financial services industry, leading sales teams;
- A track record of leading successful sales teams;
- Work and moral standards that have been proven;
