POSITION: Events Marketing and Coordinating Officer

We are a luxurious yet reasonably priced hotel near the Jei River Road in Kasoa Ofaakor, Donkor Akura.

Position Overview 

We are looking for a skilled and seasoned officer for events marketing and coordination to be part of our team. The perfect candidate will be exceptionally organized, attentive to details, and have excellent communication abilities. The position necessitates a mix of marketing knowledge and practical event management, guaranteeing the smooth implementation of multiple events.

Marketing and Advertising: 

  • Proactively advertise and publicize the event venue to prospective customers.
  • Explore nearby businesses, event organizers, and various organizations to demonstrate the venue and foster connections.
  • Create and execute marketing plans to boost event reservations, incorporating digital marketing, direct outreach, and participation in pertinent industry events.
  • Create customized conference and meeting packages that address various types of events (e.g., corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, social events).

Event Organization: 

  • Work together with clients to grasp their event requirements and offer tailored solutions.
  • Help clients select suitable event packages, which encompass catering, audio-visual equipment, decorations, and additional services.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients during the event planning process, facilitating effective communication and resolving issues.
  • Oversee event logistics, such as planning, staff management, and guaranteeing that all services are provided punctually.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to guarantee the availability of all essential resources.
  • Manage event preparation, implementation, and teardown, making sure everything operates seamlessly.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating events, with significant emphasis on marketing and operational responsibilities.
  • Outstanding capabilities in organization and multitasking.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Imaginative and original thought process with a focus on detail.
  • Skilled in event management applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capacity to perform under stress and oversee several projects at the same time.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving abilities to meet evolving client requirements.
  • A client-centered strategy and the capacity to establish and uphold robust connections.
