POSITION: I.T Officer
Job Summary
- Set up, adjust, and supervise computer systems, applications, and networks.
- Diagnose problems with hardware and software, encompassing desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
- Offer technical assistance to users, encompassing troubleshooting and fixing IT-related issues.
- Safeguard IT systems, incorporating data backup, antivirus safeguards, and access restrictions.
- Oversee and supervise network infrastructure, comprising routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Execute and uphold IT regulations, processes, and criteria to guarantee compliance and safety.
- Assess and suggest innovative technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Work together with different departments to grasp IT needs and specifications.
- Organize and carry out IT projects, such as upgrades, migrations, and installations.
- Record IT systems, settings, and processes for knowledge exchange and training purposes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or HND
- Demonstrated experience in IT support or management.
- Solid technical expertise in computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Outstanding abilities in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of operating systems like Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Understanding of network protocols, security concepts, and optimal practices.
- Capability to arrange tasks in order of importance and perform well in high-pressure situations.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Focus on precision and meticulousness in tasks.
