POSITION: Zonal Manager
Job Summary:
Engaging participation in the sale of agrochemicals, seeds, and fertilizers within an assigned area. Developing and sustaining an effective sales/marketing strategy for RMG GHANA’s current product lineup and new innovations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Marketing and delivering the complete range of RMG’s product offerings. (Crop Protection Chemicals, Fertilizers, Seeds, Spraying equipment, Agricultural tools, and Accessories.
- Achieve revenue net of sales goals by developing and maintaining customer relationships within a specific area.
- Seek out retailers, distributors, and other participants in the agribusiness sector to boost sales of RMG’s products.
- Oversee and sustain reliable distributors within the country, bringing on new distributors, and handling the sale and distribution of products to commercial farms and plantations.
- Perform regular market analysis regarding the sales and customer engagement of the company’s product compared to its competitors.
- Involve License Buying Companies (LBC) and various participants in the cocoa sector to work together on marketing the company’s cocoa products.
- Involve pertinent stakeholders to carry out tests of innovations on commercial farms and associated clients.
- Attain zonal commercial operational goals for quarterly assessments.
- Develop and finalize action plans; productivity, quality, and customer service benchmarks; recognizing trends; assessing regional sales system enhancements; enacting change.
- Achieve financial goals for zonal sales by predicting needs; developing an annual budget; planning expenditures; evaluating discrepancies; implementing corrective measures.
- Set sales targets by developing a sales strategy and quota for the area in alignment with national business goals.
- Sustain and grow the customer base by training field sales reps; fostering and preserving relationships with important clients; discovering new customer prospects.
- Suggest product lines by recognizing new product possibilities and/or alterations in product, packaging, and service; assessing consumer demands and trends; monitoring competitors.
- Create and sustain an active prospect pipeline and refresh prospects each month.

Qualification and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Bachelor’s in Sales and Marketing
- At least 4 years of experience in a related area
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Suite applications like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Practical experience with inventory using ERP computer systems, and proficiency in SAP is a significant advantage, along with interactive collaborative tools.
- Hold a valid Driver’s License and have at least 5 years of safe driving experience.
