POSITION: Maintenance Stores Officer
Position Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Maintenance Stores Officer based in Nsawam. The Maintenance Stores Officer will oversee inventory and stock levels, manage the issuing and receiving of stocks, handle purchase orders, and ensure effective stock control and management practices. The position requires keeping precise inventory records, performing routine stock audits, and coordinating with suppliers to guarantee prompt delivery of necessary materials.
Main Duties:
- Inventory Management: Aid in the reception, examination, and confirmation of incoming merchandise. Arrange and keep items in suitable places. Help with routine stock assessments and inventory evaluations to ensure precise stock counts. Revise stock records and oversee the inventory management system.
- Dispatch and Distribution: Assist in getting goods ready for shipment, making sure they are properly packed and documented. Collaborate with the Stores Manager to schedule prompt deliveries. Guarantee precise and effective order completion.
- Documentation & Record Management: Preserve records of every stock transaction, encompassing receipts, shipments, and returns. Help in compiling stock reports, making sure that all information is correct and current. Observe stock inconsistencies and inform the Stores Manager of any problems.
- Warehouse Upkeep: Maintain the warehouse in a tidy, orderly condition, and eliminate any safety risks. Help with regular checks of machinery and premises. Follow all safety protocols and company regulations to maintain a secure workplace.
- Support Functions: Help in organizing stock transfers across various locations or departments. Address questions about stock availability, location, and movement. Offer overall assistance to the Stores/Warehouse Officer when required.

Requirements
- Have abilities in Inventory Control and Inventory Management
- Familiarity with Purchase Orders and Inventory Management
- Familiarity with Inventory Management processes and protocols.
- Focus on specifics and robust organizational abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to operate autonomously and efficiently coordinate time.
- Experience in maintenance tasks
- Inventory oversight is necessary.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or similar experience in a related area
