POSITION: Global Change Manager
Position Overview
In an effort to enhance our ministry’s Change Management capability, the Global Change Partner contributes enthusiasm, commitment, and a worldwide viewpoint. They will enhance our global change management ability by leveraging subject matter expertise and developing relationships.
This person will take on the role of Change Manager for important projects/initiatives and will also enhance the development of global change capabilities. They will act as a reliable ally in change management for Compassion’s worldwide workforce and partners, promoting awareness, adoption, and retention of change.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate a personal connection with Jesus Christ. Consistently represent Jesus Christ by exhibiting a polite, Christ-like demeanor when interacting with individuals both within and outside of Compassion, while diligently supporting Compassion’s ministry through prayer.
- Serve as a promoter to enhance awareness of children’s needs. Comprehend Christ’s command to safeguard children. Dedicate and emphasize child protection factors in every decision, task, and activity throughout the ministry.
- Support and participate in Compassion’s fundamental Cultural Behaviors.
- Seek coaching and advice from a Senior Change Manager to enhance your understanding of effective Change Management practices, particularly emphasizing Compassion’s AGAPE model.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Change Manager to develop change skills, encompassing methodology and processes involving project members, stakeholders, Compassion leadership, and various change agents.
- Listen to and cultivate reliable relationships that “connect” the US-based and global neighbours.
- Pay attention to and predict stakeholder requirements and areas of opposition, looking for chances to build reliable relationships and solutions that facilitate the successful and efficient implementation of enterprise projects.
- Collaborate closely with Project Management, Communications, and Learning Services (Training) to outline, enhance, and provide a cohesive experience throughout key strategic initiatives.
- Obtain cross-cultural perspectives from Compassion’s worldwide team and collaborators by fostering robust partnerships and cooperation with essential stakeholders in every area and region.
- Function as a guiding authority and take initiative to foresee/reduce risks.
- Collaborate with primary stakeholders to develop and consistently enhance a robust Compassion change management approach.
Requirements
- Worldwide view on Compassion’s Change Management methods, instruments, and techniques.
- Over 5 years of increasingly responsible experience involving a mix of business transformation, process enhancement, communications, and/or project management experience.
- Over a decade of professional experience
- Openness to adapt to global collaborations
- Capability to align with standard United States Mountain Time working hours (8am-5pm) by about 3–4 hours daily.
- Adept in engaging with diverse cultures and building connections
- You exhibit leadership by guiding through influence and teamwork, recognizing how change initiatives affect work capacity and employees, and showing awareness and sensitivity to different cultures.
- You prioritize your relationship with Jesus Christ above everything, and you demonstrate your discipleship as a member of the staff and as a leader.
- You apply a strong degree of emotional intelligence, empathy, and integrity in your work and in managing others.
- Complete expertise in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Proficiency in English is necessary.
- Preferred CM certification includes relevant options like CCMP, PROSCI, etc.
