POSITION: Plumber

Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Plumber to become part of the projects team at Atlantic Climate Control. With more than forty years of expertise behind us, Atlantic Climate Control has been honoured to work with several of Ghana’s most esteemed brands and companies. We also offer a variety of premium cooling solutions ideal for both homes and offices.
Duties
- Put together pipe segments, tubing, and fittings by utilizing couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or tools for soldering, brazing, and welding.
- Fill pipes or plumbing components with water or air and monitor pressure gauges to identify and spot leaks.
- Examine blueprints along with building regulations and specifications to establish work details and methods.
- Examine study plans and structures to evaluate material and equipment requirements, determine the order of pipe installations, and design the installation process considering obstacles like electrical wiring.
- Identify and indicate the locations of pipe installations, junctions, openings, and fittings in buildings, utilizing measuring devices like rulers and levels.
- Gauge, sever thread, and shape pipe to a specified angle, utilizing hand and power tools or equipment like pipe cutters, pipe-threading devices, and pipe-bending apparatus.
- Fit pipe assemblies, connectors, valves, appliances including dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures like sinks and toilets, utilizing hand and power tools. Suspending steel supports from ceiling joists will secure pipes.
- Fix and upkeep plumbing, substituting damaged washers, repairing or replacing broken pipes, and unblocking clogged drains.
Educational Skill and Experience
- Certification or Diploma in Plumbing or a related area.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a plumber in an industrial or project environment. Air conditioning
Necessary Skills or Experience
- Understanding of plumbing systems like pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Proficiency in diagnosing issues and fixing plumbing systems.
- Robust safety consciousness and dedication to safety procedures.
- Capability to function autonomously and collaboratively within a group.
