EcoPlanet Bamboo Calls For Job Applications

POSITION: Nursery Manager

EcoPlanet Bamboo is spearheading the marketing of bamboo as a sustainable, deforestation-free, climate-friendly alternative fiber for some of the world’s most important businesses. We are a triple-bottom-line firm that prioritizes people, planet, and profit, and we are creating a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and passionate workforce dedicated to promoting sustainable development and long-term good impact through business.

Our operations are rapidly expanding, with carbon-financed bamboo farms in Nicaragua, South Africa, Ghana, Rwanda, and the Philippines, as well as a growing portfolio of non-bamboo restoration projects. Also, our projects use our successful landscape restoration model to address three of the world’s most pressing environmental issues: the need for effective climate change mitigation solutions; holistic restoration of the world’s most degraded landscapes; and a growing population that requires sustainable alternatives to consumer products and markets that continue to contribute to deforestation and deforestation-related emissions.

Our Ghana operations are actively building two bamboo plantations on the North Bandai and Bandai Hills Forest Reserves in the Ashanti Region, totaling approximately 5,500 hectares of bamboo, with other areas being restored and conserved with indigenous tree species. Since 2021, 3,800 hectares have been successfully planted.
