POSITION: Human Resource Officer 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Human Resource Officer promotes learning and development by developing e-learning courses and ensuring that the Learning Management System and all the organization’s eLearning programmes run properly.

In addition, the incumbent undertakes a variety of human resource management activities to help the firm achieve its goals. The Human Resources Officer reports to the HR and Administration Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and build e-learning programs.
  • Create course-specific assessments and evaluations in the LMS.
  • Creates user logins as needed and grants user access.
  • Manage course enrolment, including progress tracking.
  • Maintain accurate training records and analyse data to evaluate efficacy.
  • Enroll in e-learning courses, and monitor and report on learning activities.
  • Help learners with any concerns.
  • Identify and share opportunities for process and quality improvements, including comments on usage, problems, and suggested changes.
  • Acquire and maintain an understanding of current technology as it relates to LMS software and systems.
  • Provide support to users in logging into the LMS and accessing courses.
  • Serve as the point of contact for support concerns.
  • Coordinate the organization’s CSR efforts.
  • Manage the organization’s graduate trainee program activities.
  • Coordinate activities for the employee fitness programme.
  • Participate and assist with HR events and other efforts of the department.
  • Any additional duties assigned

OSHA RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledge and adherence to all TAGG’s OHS&E procedures.
  • Follow all safety procedures, rules, and directions.
  • Risk Assessment
  • Hazard Identification and Reporting

COMPENSATION: Competitive

Required Skill or Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, or a comparable discipline.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in human resource management.
  • Experience in a similar capacity will be an additional plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Capable of working together with colleagues at all levels and quickly learning new technical skills.
  • Customer service abilities, receptive attitude.
  • Requirements for success include strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ethics and dependability.
  • Exceptional organizing abilities and time management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and analytical skills.
