POSITIONS: Automotive Panel Beater

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Automotive Panel Beater position in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The Automotive Panel Beater will repair and restore vehicle bodywork and frames, remove dents, and replace damaged panels. The Automotive Panel Beater will also execute any necessary welding and straightening operations, as well as ensure that all repairs are completed correctly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assessing the extent of car damages, restorations, and modification requests.
- Managing customers’ expectations.
- Creating repair or modification cost estimates and completing agreements.
- Planning, arranging, and scheduling the workflow.
- Regularly updating customers on the status of their repairs.
- Restoring damaged vehicles to their original state includes removing dents, replacing parts, removing rust, restoring scratches, and spray-painting panels.
- Accepting customized requests.
- Ensure compliance with industry specifications and safety regulations.
- Operate recovery vehicles.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive panel beater or in a related job.
- Proficient in body repair tools and equipment, with extensive knowledge of panel beating techniques and repair methods.
- Requirements include strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and physical strength and stamina.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant credentials or vocational training is beneficial.
