POSITION: Senior Product Designer
Role Summary
The Lead Product Designer develops unique, visually appealing products that meet target market needs and meet the company’s brand and business goals. You will lead a passionate design team and work with product managers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to produce compelling and user-centric design solutions. The Lead Product Designer will develop, prototype, test, and iterate products to be user-friendly, functional, and attractive using their creative and technical skills. Assessments will occur.
Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Encourage collaboration and innovation by leading the design team creatively. Our product design concept should reflect company goals and consumer needs. Mentor and coach team members to improve.
- Product Strategy: Discuss corporate goals and user needs with product managers and stakeholders. Align company goals with market trends and consumer expectations in design initiatives.
- Product Design: Design attractive, functional products that meet user, business, and technical needs. This may involve sketching, wireframing, prototyping, and precise design specifications.
- User-Centric Design: Research user needs, behaviours, and pain spots to inform design. Improve usability and delight users with intuitive and seamless user experiences.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the product design matches the product strategy, commercial objectives, and technical restrictions
- Use prototypes and usability testing to obtain input and iterate designs. Product design should be improved using data and consumer feedback.
- Documents: Provide development teams with thorough design specifications, style guides, and other documents to implement the product design.
Requirements
- UI/UX portfolio shows quality and thought.
- Senior designer with over 5 years of experience
- Must have led or worked with a product and engineering team to design and release real products.
- A passion for creating amazing products and experiences.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Professional expertise and education in design tools, techniques, and principles
- Excellent collaboration and enthusiasm to learn
- A plus but not required: Experience in B2B product development Effective and intelligent iteration of designs and solutions
- Increased responsibility and project support
- Prototyping experience
- Understand digital product strategy.
- Accepts constructive criticism from both parties
- Is a team player that prefers to design with cross-functional colleagues.
