POSITION: Sales Officer

We are looking for someone who can create marketing strategies, implement marketing plans, devise sales methods, nurture customer relationships, and generate informative sales reports.

Reporting Line: The chosen candidate will report directly to the Business Development Manager of THERMOTECH Engineering & Projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets.
  • Identify, research, and prequalify potential clients; Close and convert Qualified Prospects to Valuable Clients.
  • Develop existing and new client relationships.
  • Create and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to current and prospective consumers.
  • Collaborate with clients and engineers to understand their needs and provide solutions from our company portfolio.
  • Actively support the development of all sales channels.
  • Identify, respond to, and submit winnable tenders; follow-up on, and close tenders.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and meet with stakeholders.
  • Ensure that project teams follow contractual obligations.
  • Conduct continuing market research, gather market intelligence, and assemble competition data.
  • Create captivating presentations for prospective clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and grow the sales pipeline with qualified leads.
  • Encourage strategic collaborations to accelerate corporate growth.
  • Work with the pricing department to develop rate proposals.
  • Assist with the entire sales process.
  • Work with the Project Team to finalize sales contracts and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, psychology, project management, or another business-related discipline.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Expertise in Excel, sales reporting, analysis, forecasting, and sales strategy.
  • Demonstrates strong persuasive, problem-solving, and closing skills, as well as the ability to propose win-win solutions.
  • Willingness to travel (about 65% of the time) and visit client sites for meetings.
  • Experience in the engineering industry or an engineering background is preferred.
