ROLE: Business Development Associate/Lead Associate
The Business Development Associate/Lead Associate will oversee the company’s business growth objectives. You should be able to communicate and negotiate effectively, as well as provide good customer service.
The selected candidate will be largely responsible for identifying business growth possibilities and developing sales strategy. You will build and develop relationships with these clients, as well as manage the entire customer journey from start to finish. You will be in charge of building long-term connections with customers and managing sales. Finally, you should be able to expand our business by establishing profitable, long-term client relationships.
The Role
- Create and implement a strategic business plan to drive revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities, research their requirements, undertake research, submit proposals, negotiate, and close transactions.
- Stay up to date on market trends and competitor activity, as well as industry developments.
- Use all corporate tools and systems, including CRM, etc.
- Collecting and preserving client information in the CRM database.
- Working together with staff from all segments to accomplish growth strategies.
- Creating and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention programs, and using sales data to inform or update marketing initiatives.
- Assist with the creation of business strategies, sales pitches, presentations, reference materials, and other documentation as needed.
- Capability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously and achieve deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate successfully with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
- Work to make business development more efficient and cost-effective.
- Successfully address all operational difficulties in the sales and delivery process for clients.
- Keep track of changes in the compliance function and the Placement process, and report as appropriate.
- All company and compliance policies, rules, and regulations must be observed and adhered to.
Desired Skill and Experience
The requirements
- The Lead Associate should have at least five years of experience in a similar position.
- Candidates with fewer than five years of experience will be considered for the Associate job.
- Experience in insurance sales will be advantageous.
- Proven experience as a business development executive or in a similar function.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Detail-oriented with good business acumen.
