POSITION: Client Service Manager (Branch Manager)

Company Overview 

VisionFund Ghana operates as a branch of VisionFund International, the main organization overseeing a network of 25 microfinance institutions that function in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. VisionFund International is a fully owned branch of World Vision International, which is a Christian organization focused on relief, development, and advocacy. Collaborating, we establish the basis for local economies to thrive in secure and healthy environments.

We are an organization that upholds strong ethical standards in our operations. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding acts of violence or abuse directed at children or adults within the communities we serve. Protecting children and adults within the communities we support is essential to all VFG operations and thus mandatory for every staff member.

Main Duties

  • To offer strong guidance for the daily operations of the branch.
  • To guarantee that operational policies/systems are followed and effectively executed.
  • To guarantee that efficient training sessions are carried out for employees to enhance and refresh their abilities in microfinance management.
  • To guarantee that the branch remains profitable consistently and meets all performance goals.
  • To present monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, portfolio, and impact reports of the branch.

Required Qualification or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred, focusing on Microfinance/Development Finance, or equivalent knowledge of specialized principles or techniques typically acquired through a university program or comprehensive specialized training related to the job duties.
  • Two years of experience in a Regional/Area Management role.
  • 5 years of experience in a Financial Institution.
  • Should possess strong business development abilities and connect effectively with individuals from various backgrounds.
  • Should possess a strong understanding of microfinance methods, offerings, and solutions.
  • Should be highly familiar with VF Ghana’s primary goals and business framework.
  • Should be adaptable, creative, and driven.
  • Should be prepared and capable of functioning efficiently in high-pressure situations and have a focus on achieving goals.
  • Should possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be an active Christian
