Standards of Eligibility
To be considered for the University of Findlay International Scholar Award 2023, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- International students are required to apply.
- Students are accepted into bachelor’s degree programs.
- The prize is accessible to undergraduate students enrolled in any of the University’s offered courses.
- Additional elements like levels of motivation, leadership potential, and community service will also be taken into account.
- Students who enroll in the Honors program full-time during the semester in which they are granted the scholarship.
- Outstanding abilities for personal achievement (e.g., emotional maturity, motivation, perseverance, etc.)
- A high school transcript and/or GSE results (you will also need a certified translation if your transcript is not in English).
- English Language Requirement: Candidates must submit documentation demonstrating that they meet the University of Findlay’s minimal standards for English language competency.

Scholarships for Undergraduate Merit
- The Trustee Scholarship is worth $21,000 annually and is renewable.
- $19,000 annually, renewed every year, is the Presidential Scholarship.
- Dean’s Scholarship: $17,000 per annum, renewable annually
- $15,000 annually, renewable every year, is the Findlay Award.
- $12,000 annually, renewed every year is the International Scholar Award.
Scholarships for Graduate Students
- All graduate students are eligible to apply for the $1,000 Graduate Student Scholarship.
- MBA Scholar: $2,000. awarded during the program
- Master’s Scholarship in Environmental, Safety, and Health Management: $2,000 during the duration of the course of study
- $1,000 for the length of the program as part of the GRE Scholarship (given for achieving a score of 300 or better on the exam)
- $1,000 for the length of the program as part of the GMAT Scholarship (given for achieving a score of 550 or better on the exam)
Other Scholarships
- $1,500 per year, renewable, for an intensive English language program
- Sibling Scholarship: $500 annually for each sibling enrolled concurrently at the University of Findlay
Steps for Making Applications
Applying Procedure:
As part of the application procedure, candidates must apply through the university’s common application or application portal for admission to the bachelor’s degree program. Scholarships are applied automatically as part of the admissions process, so there is no need to submit a separate application to be eligible for the award.
