International students can apply for Goldsmiths International Response Scholarships 2022-2023, which are fully financed. The grant is available for undergraduate and master’s degree programs. Scholarship Benefits
The Goldsmiths International Response Scholarship gives the following benefits to the recipient:
- Allowance of £8,825
- For each year of study, a complete tuition cost waiver is provided.
- Accommodation charge in Goldsmiths halls of residence for a single study bedroom (up to £200 per week)
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must meet all of the following conditions to be considered for the Goldsmiths International Response Scholarship:
- English is a required language.
- All countries in the world are eligible.
- You must have been offered a spot in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme beginning in September 2022.
- Your application must state that you are a refugee or asylum seeker, or that you have been granted limited leave as a consequence of an asylum or human rights claim.
- Academic brilliance and/or considerable success in your chosen field of study are also required.
- You must be pursuing your first bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Applicants must obtain a document from the UK government verifying their status as a refugee or asylee in the country. When you submit your application, you must upload this document to your My Goldsmiths account.
- If you do not give proof of your legal status in the UK, your application will be rejected.

How to Apply
Please follow the steps below to apply for the Goldsmiths International Response Scholarship:
Fill out an application for University.
Undergraduate Students:
- UCAS is a website that allows international students to apply for undergraduate degrees. You may apply online at ucas.com by filling out a form. You can apply to a maximum of five universities using this form. You just need to fill out the form once, and it will be forwarded to all of the institutions you’ve chosen.
- The application is divided into sections that include your contact information, academic history, and a personal statement in which you may express your excitement for the topic you wish to study. Read the University’s advice on writing a memorable personal statement.
For postgraduate students:
- By clicking the ‘apply now’ option on the program page of the course you’re interested in, you may apply directly to Goldsmiths via the website. Some programs have special application procedures, so make sure to check the program listing for any prerequisites.
- A personal statement will be required as part of your application. This is your chance to set yourself apart from the other applicants for your program and explain why they should accept you as a student. Read their advice on how to write a personal statement.
- Although there is no set deadline for applying for most taught degrees, it is worth noting that popular courses tend to fill up rapidly, so it is better to apply early to prevent disappointment. You may be required to provide examples of your work, such as essays or photographs, as part of your application. Individual programme pages will provide further information.
