PROMOS Scholarship Program 2024, University of Bremen, Germany is offered for Bachelor’s and Master’s level programs at the University of Bremen.
About The Scholarship Program
The goal of the program is to make it easier for students to move around by giving them grants for up to 4 months while they are getting their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. This scholarship will help pay for full-time study-related activities outside of the Erasmus area, such as learning abroad, doing an internship, or doing research. Students can also apply for a one-time allowance of 500 euros per course to pay for language courses or courses linked to their major.

Benefits of scholarships:
The support for school, writing a thesis, and internships is 350 Euros per month, and in some countries, it can go up to 550 euros.
Only things like IAESTE, yearly DAAD scholarships, etc., for which there is no separate DAAD funding line, are backed. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) gives out the grant.

This grant is open to students from all over the world who are studying abroad.
Criteria for eligibility:
Students who want to get their degree at the University of Bremen are the only ones who can apply. There are no measures from the home country. Countries for which the German Foreign Office has issued a travel warning have been left off the list.
Students in a joint degree program can only apply if, according to the Office for Student Affairs, the University of Bremen is officially in charge of the administration at the time of the application.
The school helps students study, work, and learn a new language abroad. Doctoral students may also be able to get help from partial grants in some situations. Countries that the German Foreign Ministry has warned people not to travel to are not included. We can’t back measures in a student’s home country.

Getting an application:
- In each area, there is a PROMOS Coordinator to whom the applications must be sent through the online portal MobilityOnline.
- On the right, in the download area, you can find a list of PROMOS-Coordinators.
- Applications will only be accepted if they are complete and on time. Even if swap places come from a different department, everyone has to apply in their own department.
- You can only submit one PROMOS application for each activity, always through your main subject, even if you are taking an exchange job from a foreign department. So that everyone has the same chances, all double applications will be thrown out.
When there are two main courses with the same name (two-subject Bachelor), the one on the enrollment certificate is the major subject.
HERTIE SCHOOL DATA FOR GOOD FULLY FUNDED SCHOLARSHIP 2023-24 (GERMANY)
The PROMOS representatives, along with a jury, make the nomination lists for each area and send them to the International Office. So, the International Office decides who gets a scholarship and sends the grants to all scholarship winners via e-mail.
Please remember that for each action, a full application must be sent in. So, if you want to apply for a language school followed by an exchange semester, you need to send in two applications.
