The Senior Supervisor – Production among other duties will be accountable for leading the shift team to ensure safe and effective running of the various unit operations such as milling circuit, gravity circuit, thickeners, elution, and CIP.

The incumbent will plan/engineer and co-ordinate the ventilation requirements for the mine in line with the established mine plans and Ghana Mining Regulations, ensuring AGAG provides an occupational environment that is conducive to good health, safety, and productivity (through anticipation, monitoring, recognition, evaluation, and control of factors that may cause adverse or dangerous conditions).

The Mechanical Supervisor – Process Plant is accountable for the monitoring and control of the output of Processing Plant structural, mechanical, plate work and pipe works refurbishment to standard, through the application of operational policies, standards, processes, and procedures to maximize plant availability in a sustainable cost-effective manner and minimize operational risks in order to meet the business’ strategic objective.

The Superintendent – Fleet is accountable for the development and implementation of world-class maintenance practices for Underground and Surface Mobile Plant (Fleet), and related infrastructure/facilities belonging to this area.

• Actively promote and partake in all Health, Safety, and Environmental programs as set out by AGAG Obuasi.
• Serve as the coordinator for all paste plant emergencies including safety, health, environment, and security as all such communications are directed at the control room for dissemination.
• Accountable for his or her own safety and the safety of all employees on the mine including his direct reports and contractors.

Reporting to the Metallurgical Superintendent, the incumbent will lead in exploring all forms of challenges and opportunities within the plant space and build the right business case for them; consolidate the ideas into a repository and rank them with all related documentation.

The task shall require sound communication skills, good decision-making skills, a strong sense of fair judgment, team building, controlling, absolute grasp of the plant flowchart, and set KPIs and or expectations.
