POSITION: Rooms Division Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the front office and housekeeping departments.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and respond to any concerns or complaints swiftly.
  • Develop and implement policies and processes to improve the guest experience.
  • Conduct regular training and development workshops for employees.
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets and expenses.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance standards in all guest rooms and public areas.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and handle any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Keep accurate records of guest input and make modifications based on it.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of housekeeping materials and equipment.
  • Prepare and provide frequent reports on departmental performance to upper management.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures for consistent service delivery.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of new employees.
  • Conduct performance reviews and give comments to staff.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices to continuously enhance operations.
  • Attend monthly management meetings and assist with strategic planning.

Required Skill or Experience

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a will to uphold high standards.
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make swift decisions
  • Experience with budget management and financial reporting
  • Ability to function well in a team setting
  • Understanding of cleaning and front office operations.
  • Strong analytical abilities and data interpretation
  • Capable of handling guest complaints and resolving issues professionally.
  • Experience with inventory management and procurement
  • Ability to create and administer policies and procedures
  • Yield Management Skills
  • OTA relationship management
