POSITION: Operations Coordinator

Position Summary 

Our client, a provider of hospitality services, is seeking to add an Operations Coordinator to their team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), your main responsibility will be to oversee daily operations while aiding marketing efforts to boost brand visibility and increase revenue growth.

DUTIES:

• Supervise the hotel’s daily functions, making sure all areas (housekeeping, front desk, food and beverage -in collaboration with local eateries, security, and maintenance) operate effectively and seamlessly while applying methods to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise the hotel’s financial activities, which involve handling budgets, managing expenses, and maintaining precise records to enhance profitability, while pinpointing chances to boost revenue in different departments.
• Manage the hotel’s digital presence by updating the website, handling social media profiles, and overseeing third-party booking services to enhance brand visibility and guest interaction.
• Maintain a consistently elevated standard of service, hygiene, and overall guest contentment throughout all operational sectors.
• Make certain that the hotel meets local health, safety, and legal standards to create a secure working environment.
• Hire, educate, and guide personnel, promoting a collaborative, high-achieving work atmosphere that supports the hotel’s business objectives.
• Act as the primary liaison for guests, resolving issues, guaranteeing satisfaction, and building loyalty among repeat and VIP guests.
• Establish systems for gathering guest feedback to enhance services and the overall guest experience consistently.
• Create and execute sales and marketing plans to improve the hotel’s market presence, boost brand awareness, and promote revenue growth by utilizing both traditional and digital marketing channels.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and travel agents to reliably achieve or surpass an 80% yearly occupancy rate.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or a comparable discipline.
• At least three (3) years of experience in managing hotel operations, including a minimum of two (2) years in a boutique, luxury hotel, resort, Airbnb, or property management environment.
• Demonstrated experience in creating marketing strategies to increase revenue and enhance brand awareness.
• Should have robust leadership and team management abilities to inspire and direct employees towards achievement.
• Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written), along with strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Skilled in digital marketing, encompassing SEO, social media management, and content development.
• Acquaintance with hotel management applications and digital reservation platforms.
• Capacity to assess and oversee budgets efficiently.
• Skill in managing multiple tasks while staying focused on outcomes in a demanding environment.
