Parliamentary Service of Ghana Recruitment for July 2024
Applications are solicited from adequately qualified individuals to fill a vacancy in the following positions in Ghana’s Parliamentary Service.
1. Deputy Director of Procurement
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- A good first degree in procurement, logistics, and supply chain management, or a relevant discipline, from a recognized university, with a minimum of nine (9) years of post-qualification experience, and a master’s degree in the relevant subject, with at least three (3) years in a position equivalent to Assistant Director I in the public service. OR
- A excellent first degree and a master’s degree in the relevant area, with at least five (5) years of post-master’s degree qualification experience in a position similar to Assistant Director I in the public sector.
- An applicant must be a member in good standing of a recognized professional organization in the relevant field.
AGE LIMIT
An applicant’s age should not exceed forty-five (45) years on the date of appointment to the Parliamentary Service.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Possess a good first degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline from a recognized university, with at least 12 years of post-qualification experience, and a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 6 years in a position comparable to a Director in a Public Service Institution; or
- Possess an excellent first degree and a Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or an equivalent area. Have at least six (6) years of post-master’s degree experience in a position similar to a Director in a Public Service Institution.
- Applicants must be members in good standing of a recognized professional body, such as ICA (GH) or other comparable certifications.
AGE LIMIT
Applicants for Parliamentary Service positions must be under the age of 55 on the date of appointment.
3. Chief Budget and Fiscal Analyst
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- The ideal candidate has a post-graduate degree in economics, finance, commercial law, or a related field from a recognized university. They should have at least 15 years of experience in budget and fiscal policy analysis, as well as six years in a position similar to a Director in the Public Service.
- Proven experience writing internationally recognized policy texts for governments and international organizations.
AGE LIMIT
Applicants for the role must be under 55 years old on the day of appointment to the Parliamentary Service.
