Oxford-Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Leadership Scholarships

Applications are open for interested applicants to submit their applications for the Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarship and Leadership Program at Oxford University.

Brief explanation:

The Oxford-Weidenfeld and Hoffman Scholarship and Leadership Program assists deserving students from developing nations in South America, Asia, and Africa in attending Oxford University to complete their graduate degrees.  The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust looks after it.

  • Host: The University of Oxford is the host institution.

The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme develops tomorrow’s leaders by giving exceptional college graduates and working professionals from developing and emerging economies the chance to pursue fully-funded graduate studies at the University of Oxford along with a comprehensive program of leadership development, long-term mentoring, and networking.

What Should You Know?

In 2015, to commemorate Lord Weidenfeld’s 95th birthday, the Oxford-Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Program was created with the help of numerous benefactors’ generous contributions.

The Oxford-Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Program’s size was doubled as a result of Trustee and Chairman André Hoffmann’s extra £9 million commitment to the Trust in June 2017. This was made possible by Oxford University matching this amount with a grant of £6 million.

The Oxford Graduate Scholarships, which were created through an innovative matched financing initiative to produce fully-funded scholarships for graduate students of the best caliber from all around the world, include this scholarship.

The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust’s sponsors, especially Fondation Hoffmann, generously donated 60% of the cash for these scholarships, with the University providing 40% of the total.

These scholarships include a special component called the Leadership Programme, where students spend a year participating in philosophical conversations, learning business skills, and getting communication training in a welcoming environment. and the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust website has more details about this.
